So here's the dumb thing about removing the verification for 100k channels @TeamYouTube
We all have copycats. When I comment on a video now how is someone going to be able to tell that it is the real me and not just another copycat? At first glance you'll assume its legit.

They could/should simply add a "owner" badge so even if you are not verified in YOUR channel you are the official "you".

On your own channel they do have your name outlined in the comments but the problem comes up when you go to post comments on someone else's video.

Ok, i was just reading this on the tweet of @TeamYouTube and it's actually a problem I'm really sorry, a solution could simply be having a certification for your "friendly" channel, but i guess it still sucks working for a Company that only cares about their biggest creator.
