Labour's manifesto was NOT popular. It had individually popular measures that voters didn't really care about. It had stronger measures Labour didnt much talk about. It had half baked quasi-transformative guff As a whole it became a running joke as few people found it credible

was a TA for a year way back in 2003 before doing teacher training. loved being a TA but with a pro rata salary and then taking out all the tax and insurance I actually only got about £7500 in a year!Terribly under paid role. I hope they get more now but bet it still isnt enough

Pro Rata is the most underhanded way in which TAs are paid. You can never earn the advertised salary, so shouldn’t be advertised as such. Many people don’t understand it. They think they’re being paid in the holidays when they’re not. It’s less money spread over 12 months.
