I talk a lot about how you can’t be a great developer without great communication skills, but I don’t think people grok how _directly_ your communication skills are reflected in your codebase. Let me give you an example.

The irony I (and apparently @benudek) experience is that @sarahmei's message clashes with the way it's delivered. It may be our subjective opinion that this is ironic and it may be others' subjective opinion that it is not. Irony can lie in the eye of the beholder.
