It's so bad. Suggesting that maybe the sexual revolution has had negative consequences in the form of swathes of average men (not even below average!) being locked out of the normative process of family-creation- "No!" Says the serial monogomous female journo. "They deserved it."

"You're not entitled to having a wife & kids" she says. "That is a luxury for the worthy. & we cannot dilute it by disavowing free love. The sexual economy must be completely deregulated. There is no compromise."

Osita Nwanevu @OsitaNwanevuThis idea advanced by Jordan Peterson and others is false. Positive assortative mating has increased since 1960 & the sexual revolution. People increasingly marry within their class - so much so that there's concern that it may be increasing inequality. http://ftp.iza.org/dp7895.pdf pic.twitter.com/Qe8aKMMRAUShow this thread2 replies 1 retweet 4 likes -

the mans response makes no sense. people are marrying within their class, but also marriage is in the decline. a more likely scenario is the highest classes are marrying and the low-mid classes are in a madmax sexual hell

It's a slippery argument I can't believe people but into it, besides being blinded by incel-hate. It's like divorce rates and the average rate of young people being discouraged from marriage does not even factor into the equation..it's a slate blogger so I'm not surprised lol.
