Lolololololol yeah because you know, what would we do without the culture industry...oh and the molestation thing, that's rich considering the amount of them in Hollywood.

As even #SlavojZizek pointed out in an essay about "Casablanca," the mild restrictions of the 1930's and 40's spurred creativity. Many of those films, not incidentally, were far sexier than anything made today, because they created an essential atmosphere of mystery.
Restrictions always tend to spur creativity and a recognition of the harmony between media and social values...from experience, some of the most creative paintings are done with the 4 colour zorn palette.
This tweet blew up because it’s your best take yet
It was a psyop. The Americanist brand of Catholicism sold to outsider ethnic Europeans shaped their religious self-understanding. After being hypnotized by a false image of themselves the immigrant city catholic began to lust after the White American costume.
True, I take the view of E Michael jones, it was all over for the Catholic diocese in America when they cut a deal with the Americanists to go after communism.
The effects of film/theatre are exactly the same whether one makes “good” or “evil” movies. From the get go, the “Legion of Decency” was in league with the devil.
Whoever made this has no sense of reality. Hmmm the “golden age of cinema” happened under censorship by the church, oh but the hays code was so horrible... it just doesn’t flow logically
They have a very profane and officialized view of history, Hollywood to them is a history of "progressive edgy rebels" instead of literal freaks attempting mass mind control.
Just looked up who filed the lawsuit that ended the Church's moral grip on the industry. Guess who?
the Leauge of Decency CREATED the golden age of film... "But muh uncensored nudity!"
Now we have films about deaf women sleeping with fish.
Is that the Shape of Water movie?
Ay screw that movie.
