answer me this, if i, or someone else who is open about being on the right, were to be in one of your classes, would you honestly say that you would treat a right wing student fairly and not try to cause problems for them or attempt to down-grade them in some way?

Yes, I have many right wing students (even as advisees), have had many right wing undergraduate and graduate mentors, and hold (and have held) many views traditionally considered right wing. Nothing in the article suggests otherwise. I'm a military historian, for crying out loud.
