I'm starting to think the divide between the Christians and the non-religious Dissident Righters is becoming unbridgeable. The non-religious fundamentally don't understand Christianity, and they can't look at it from a non-utilitarian perspective.

I know that the modern-day churches have a lot of problems, and that they've acquiesced to the world in many ways that they shouldn't have. This is nothing new. The struggle against false teaching has existed since the beginning of Christianity.

Between the people who are just too skeptical by nature and the Alt-Righters who want to worship themselves, they have no room for childlike faith. It's pointless to appeal to people who simply won't believe in the truth of Christianity, because it's only a tool to them.

My faith is not a means to an end; it's something I hold in my heart. At the end of the day, I put my faith in God, not Man. If we determine to do it without Him, we're going to fail, just as the liberals of the past who elevated their intellect above God.
