I have noticed a few flaws in saying that Christianity is the father of, or a proto version of, global liberalism in toto: 1.they usually have a very prot/Lutheran post-Hegelian understanding of Christianity 2.they ignore when Jesus said "my kingdom is not of THIS earth".

A world where both Christianity and liberalism share common space over the mass zeitgeist, hence the term "post-Christian" society. Liberalism has to mutate itself and allow for illiberal elements to sort of prop it up as moldbug said.
