Thank you my good sir

This is a brilliant analysis my friend, I would often struggle with the comparative bug years ago, this is also a great read for the pseudo-nietzscheans in the altright that decry Christianity for it's supposed weakness and gnostic denialism of this life ;)
Spengler asked Nietzsche: "where was the weakness in the bishop-generals and crusaders?" Nietzsche would reply: "where was the Christianity?" I don't think it's fair to conflate Nietzsche's ideas of Church and Christianity into "Christianity" to make a cultural point.
Can you elaborate? I had a prof once who thought Nietzsche had a more favourable view of Christianity outside of church orthodoxy, he did consider Jesus an aristocrat of the soul.
Separating Christ the man from his Buddhist Nihilism is as significant to Nietzsche as separating the Church from its Christianity. To understand Nietzsche it's also useful to apply this bifurcation to Nietzsche himself, as his works vacillate between the man and his philosophy.
Very true, hence his role as the great cultural philologist
