I look around at the housing prices of major Canadian cities, especially Toronto and Vancouver, and how this is a universal trend of housing prices that are almost artificially inflated and all I can think of is this being a constant of Bugplanet...

Only the rich will live the boomer dream that was instilled into all of us of "owning your own home someday" while the bulk of mass-dividual urbanites live transient lives, moving frequently, going from job to job, being without families well into their thirties, etc..

Our external chaos and uncertainty reflects our inner chaos and uncertainty. We dumped our cheap labour into places like China, and now China (and soon to be other places) are taking over our infrastructure, oh the irony.

This is a trend all over major first world cities, further solidifying the class and cultural divide of far off distant metropolises and the few decaying zones on the outside no one pays attention to, rust belt wayfar towns totally gutted physically, culturally and spiritually :(
