the recent @joerogan interview really exposed @jordanbpeterson political naivety, especially regarding his model of hierarchy and the "necessity" of there being a right and leftwing having this liberal fantasy of a symbiotic relationship, its NEVER
GONNA
HAPPEN
especially now.
the only thing the left wants, they dont want some debbie downer right wingers on the sidelines "reminding them" of fundamental concepts like hierarchy, their end of history has no use for any bit of the past, they would much prefer the RW dead tbh, Peterson has been a leftist

for so long and his boomer need for social approval is so massive that he is not even aware of the viciousness that lies at the heart of his ilk.

Also no way Peterson is a leftist. He may have adopted some left wing assumptions but he spends the overwhelming majority of his time defending hierarchy. He just acknowledges the role of the left in highlighting abuse, he doesn't go into that abuse himself.
-
well hes a leftist by the 1980s standards when he was a member of the NDP lol
-
I see, I'm not that familiar with Canadian politics but if its anything like the American Democratic Party, I view that as a center-right party. It may be left-wing on social issues but it agrees with Republicans on defending the basic economic structure.
-
The Dems are centre right in that economic issues have been totally abandoned for social issues and Id-Pol, hence the term "woke capitalism"
-
Yep. Notice how with intersectionality they always say they’re against “racism, sexism, classism,....” and then they proceed to never mention class once. It’s easy to see how full of shit the left is from a Marxist view.

The left wing is so enmeshed in their moralistic utopian view that they cannot see any purpose for the right other than an obstacle to achieving their aims. Peterson is good at fighting back against that conception in my view.
-
But from an aerial view, the left still serves the purpose of highlighting the abuses of hierarchy, even if leftists themselves see their role as demolishing hierarchy and the right wing that defends it.
