Everywhere I go in life I will always remember the wisdom he shared with me, and I can only hope one day I can reach something even approximating being on his level. (Wink wink

3. yes of course I care what others think, you have to, I generally think the people who say they don't are lying to themselves deep down inside. As RD Laing pointed out, that's the paradox of being a human, the other gives you your subjectivity and can also easily take it away.

4. Nothing at the moment really, I guess catching up with work but idk, that is always a struggle. I don't even know if applying to grad school and getting in would make me happy at this point, I'm just really questioning my direction so there's not real endpoint RN.

5. Hmm...idk. One life rule? I guess one life rule I trust is that you should never underestimate people's ideological self interest, or ability to be purposefully ignorant of certain things...also another would be that fallen times produce broken people, always be aware of this.

6. My dream job would, besides being a prof, get paid to do what I do now, it's actually not as extravagant of a request as a lot of other things, although Idk, I don't need a big income, I'm a simple person in terms of wants, just enough to life to produce my content.

7. There are so many fictional characters to choose from, I'd probably want to meet the shaman from the holy mountain or colonial Kurtz. Any series I watch I have this odd habit of imagining that I am one of the characters and what my role would be haha.

10. The skill of realism in painting, like at least decent figure painting I guess, I always wanted the skill to pull off convincing visionary art.

Replying to @giantgio
Realism isn't much of a skill, you can do it but it's mostly just about practice. It is fun to do but it gets very boring, for me at least.
