Actually, I know that document by heart. My point is different. Operatively they are 2 faces of the same coin. Again, for my efforts to make patents in standards licensed foss-compatible, making that distinction is detrimental. That very argument is used to divide and conquer.

@carlopiana I know and appreciate your work. Really! But you forget#programmers and users in your reasoning. The#ambiguity in the mainstream language fools them both. It reduces the#freedom that the licenses grant. Concretely! -
What happens to your
#freedom to#modify if it takes hours to understand how to build the code? And days to build! Such projects are not concretely#FreeSoftware. Even when they use a#GPL license. I agree they are still#OpenSource though. -

Stating that there is no difference sound like a will to preserve the
#ambiguity, just to get more#programming#minions for free! But for free, is not for freedom! And I don't think#developers deserve this. We build what you defend! This is what I mean by ethics' orthogonality.
