Got him to eat a couple water soaked mushy pieces of cat food bc that’s what a couple different articles told me to do. It said not to give him water directly bc he’s more likely to inhale it than drink it

Im not sure. My grandpa would always find all kinds of baby birds and give them water and bread soaked in water and would feed them with a toothpick
