Like if a dude in his 40s refuses to date a woman his own age or older than 25 then yeah somethings up but there’s nothing....inherently bad
There’s literally nothing wrong with a LEGAL age gap between two consenting adults (but yeah if a much older person EXCLUSIVELY dates people much much much younger than them there’s probably an issue)

It also just comes down to predatory power imbalances and differences in experience because sadly some older men go for younger women specifically because they haven’t been alive as long and thus don’t have as much life experience and thus don’t know better.

Like I would be okay dating a 40 year old man but one of my roommates absolutely would not bc even though were the same age, we have vastly different life experiences and knowledge given the different circumstances we grew up in and different situations we have or havent been in.
