Falling in love with someone with no intention is really beautiful, but also very messy! Sometimes I forget that the structure of dating actually serves a purpose. Falling in love with your best friend is not always like a movie. You will see each other do terrible things.
And of course you love each other regardless! But it doesn’t change that you will inevitably see the worst parts of each other and have to decide before the relationship progresses naturally whether or not you want to continue. It’s kinda like reading a movie synopsis-
then deciding if you want to watch the movie. Or watching all of the movies/ seasons of the show and really liking them!!! But there’s an entire book series you haven’t touched and there’s WAY more content, but do you want to live through-
having your favorite characters die and have their hearts broken all over again? Kinda like that. Pretty sure I’m ranting. Love is not easy forever, and don’t expect it to be. Sometimes it isn’t easy at all; and that’s ok too. I’m willing to fight for it.
