I just got into an argument with some1 and honestly I told them I’m sorry if it came off that way & I’m not invalidating their feelings but I didn’t treat them (via text no less) as they’re saying I did. Especially if you know me. They were essentially saying I’m a bad person.

Feelings are always valid
It's up to the people to communicate on how to resolve those feelings, not invalidate them. Though I'm not sure "blame" should be a focus -
Maybe blame was a bad word. Responsibility is what I should have said. Pretty much you don’t get to decide you didn’t fuck up when you did.

I’m saying people don’t get upset for no reason; there’s always a reason. If you think they’re upset for absolutely no reason, you’re not putting yourself in their shoes and you’re just invalidating their feelings.
