I spent my whole life wishing I looked whiter, wishing my hair was straighter and my nose and lips were smaller; now I wish the exact opposite. I want to be darker with curlier hair and fuller lips and look as ethnic and Afro-Latina as possible. Society fucks girls up, man.

You are beautiful like. We are all our harshest critic but the things I’d want to say to myself.....because I wish I had a thinner nose, skinnier face, different colored eyes. Bigger boobs. That seems to be popular on social media.
I think you’re gorgeous! Everyone wants to change things about themselves but it’s important to try to love your skin and everything about it. 
Regardless of society’s impact on our thoughts it’s important to remember that.
