That’s been my takeaway as well. That said, is it feasible to follow a premodern diet? Even if you switch from eating X to eating Y it seems like supermarket foods suffer from some form of composition change, e.g. https://fireinabottle.net/polyunsaturated-fat-pufa-in-pork-and-chicken/ ….

Premodern diet is more like proof-of-work for animals. If the animal needs the organ to live, then it probably has the right essential fats. We’re still blinded because we don’t see how long animals would live, but it’s a start.

That sounds like science denial. Smoking, Alcohol, Sugar, ... pretty much contradict this. Science is real, but not everything that is sold as science is science

Vast majority of scientific studies are orders of magnitude too small in scale to predict what they claim, no matter the p-value. Maybe you start getting a reasonable signal after a decade of reproductions and a proper meta-study.
