it's not a remotely feasible option, and the technical complexity of youtube is being taken for granted. if you're mad about corporations shitting on your art and work, please join a revolutionary cause and help actually challenge their power.

bless up, death to the online! it's not about the software, it's about the cost of intrastructure and serving. thought about where to store all those videos? or latency? youtube needed 10 years of google funding before it became profitable
