The world is a dangerous place when its led by demagoguery leaders who manipulate truth. They lie, they know they are lying, & they know that we know they are lying. RIP My dear friend , I hope your death show everyone their true-selves and what they stand for.

Whenever a new technology is introduced into society, there must be a counterbalancing human response - that is, high touch - or the technology is rejected... We must learn to balance the material wonders of technology with the spiritual demands of our human nature ~John Naisbitt

Medicine is for the very ill, never the healthy. In , there is the assertion that there has been practically NOTHING made by humans to "improve" on nature or help with shortcuts that did not end up harming with UNSEEN side effects.

Deeply honored to have the opportunity to share some of my research in this op-ed for the Privacy Project. After researching these issues for many years, I have some things to say:

Sustainable progress is achieved by balancing between emotions and logic when making decisions. Both needed. Emotions controlling logic is an old parent wrestling their strong son or daughter. Logic controlling emotions is an inexperienced child telling their parents what to do.

New article for on Amazon's issues with health misinfo: cancer quackery misclassified as science, gameable recommendation engines, and dubious ⭐️ ratings amping up antivax content. Among other things.

For my fellow skeptics:"Spirituality has.for too long been abandoned to its more overzealous defenders..A spiritual experience is neither ineffable nor absurd; [it is] rather..relief from the burdens and blindness of being us.” More, via :

One of the most banal yet personally profound insights a person can have is the realization that one does not have to let their emotions determine their behavior. Ever. You’re actually allowed to listen to the signals and decide: “nawwww I’ll pass.”

An open letter to my GOP colleagues: You‘ve bemoaned Trump’s lack of decency, character and integrity. But you have chosen to keep your misgivings, your rising alarm, private. That must end. The time for silent disagreement is over. You must speak out.

Hey : Having to choose between granting apps full access or no access to our entire photo galleries when we just want to upload a single photo to an app risks our privacy. Please address this dangerous loophole.

New Year’s resolutions for a world choking on outrage: I will give less offense (i.e., be more polite) I will take less offense (i.e., give others the benefit of the doubt) I will pass on less offense (i.e., not be the sort of retweeter Russian trolls want me to be)

Jaw-dropping evidence that Americans are being kept in the dark about the personal data companies are collecting, what’s being done with it, and how much that data is worth. Consumers are paying with their data, but have no way to find out if they're getting a fair deal.
