    Vaccine inequity is certainly on our minds. Unfortunately, the current handwashing inequity is also immensely dangerous.

    I've been so frustrated that has blocked hand washing stations in UK for the past 7.5 months - during a pandemic! Now I feel weirdly better knowing there are books written on this, and... ironically... they're hot items on Amazon. wow.

    Leaving poisonous chemicals within reach of kids is dangerous — can cause serious eye damage, or worse when ingested. Sanitizer shouldn't be the long-term strategy for hand hygiene wherever there are kids. Instead, soap and water.

    No doubt hand washing is more convenient/easy when you have a sink. For the 900M students who don't have one at school, no amount of reminders will likely help much.
