If I were struggling to get people to want to read my work, I think I'd pay a lot of attention to what I might be doing that is causing that problem, and devote a lot less energy toward bitterness and censorship demands aimed at those whose work people are interested in reading.

"Pot meet kettle" is a meaningless cilché when unaccompanied by substantive claims. I would have great difficultly finding journalists whose careers I would be jealous of when I compare theirs to mine. Lots of criticisms to make of me, but envy of other journalists? Nope.
