Correct, that's my point: not only wasn't he charged but also didn't lose his job. And the person who kept him in his highly sensitive position is a pretty poor messenger for warning that the rule of law is endangered if powerful people can get away with lying during testimony.

Don't disagree that several Obama seniors lied to Congress They were under Oath. Am unsure lying to Congress is perjury under the general perjury statute - must be under oath in a court of law. I doubt Obama was splitting those hairs. Yes, there should have been repercussions.
