I mean that happens more often than we would care to admit! xD Haha! But if you check it later, and find out that isn't the case, please let us know more in depth, either in the bug report section or tech support on Steam! So our developers can help you directly! :)
Seems like a configuration mistake? Is each character assigned to a separate slot via the "Player Character Management" screen (Settings menu)? But I'm sure this has crossed your mind, though! If you see it's something you can't figure it out, please let us know! :)
Haha I'm absolutely prone to doing that, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. But yeah, I'll escalate via those channels if I can't figure it out. Thanks! ^^
