I get that James Woods did a nice thing for the victims of the #campfire but enough with giving him his own campfire related hashtag. If he’s doing this out of a kindness he doesn’t need to use this for notoriety. You know who deserve hashtags...first responders.

And his full name is being used instead of
#missingcampfirevictims because? -
Because he made it and spread it’s use. If you want a different one maybe you could’ve created one and spread it among you thousands of followers. This one is easy to recognize and not generic and forgettable
-
So who’s being helped by having to sift through all the “james woods love” in the actual campfire hashtag. Cause it’s getting in the way of important updates and info. You know the reason we have that hashtag.
-
#campfirejameswood is the actual hashtag and if people want to use it they can, obviously not everybody will but based on its feed it’s currently being used quite a bit -
That’s cool and I’m so glad it’s helpful but it’s not NOT stopping them from also using the campfire hashtag in the same tweet, which kinda defeats the point of a separate hashtag. My point...focus should be on the fire not him.
-
I get what you’re saying, I don’t think it really matters anyways. He’s helping and using his twitter reach to do so. His retweets has helped reconnect quite a few people today
