Hey man. I agree with you, but they made the ultimatum, it's illegal, your problem is with the government and not gab.
If they got a subpoena or a takedown notice from the government, I would concede defeat here and now. But just curious, how many laws do you think are out there that are blatantly ignored by everyone?
If you knew anything at all about subpoenas you would know that most of them come with gag orders. Consider that we may know something or have information that you do not.
Your own link earlier brought up a whopping 6 cases of this being prosecuted in the US. And I can assure you Twitter of all places is full of it. Something tells me you are full of shit when you try to imply you are actually getting any.
Another anon with risk-free “big brained” legal opinions online.
You know, you could just refute the guy's claims without any fallacies. Then again, with your head seemingly rammed far up your rear, you are probably going to not do the logical action.
Business practices at their finest.
Doesn't matter you were "obeying the law." That's not why you pissed people off, you're taking a moral high ground stance and projecting it onto your users. It's unprofessional to let your personal bias for a topic seep into your policy announcements. Regardless of context.
Lmao, gab blocked me for this tweet. Stay on twitter, gab isn't a free speech platform. #getongab #BlockedByGab #ExposeTorbapic.twitter.com/zVzuwaZGVN

Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Reddit are all huge platforms, doesn't make them any less of hypocrites when they claimed to be for free speech and then censored content they didn't like. You're no better than them.
"cartoon child porn"? Is that like "virtual mass murder"? Are you going to start removing anyone posting Call of Duty or other violent video game content?
There have been hundreds of social networks, yours is just one of some to claim freedom. But it likely will not be the next Facebook or even Google Plus - which had a billion dollar company under its wing. But they keyword is still CARTOON. Drawings need no laws to protect it.
