Using "society as a whole" as the "victim" is also not an argument. Perhaps the reason why there are so many people defending these cartoons is that they see that the law is based on "obscenity" which IS subjective. Nice try defending a law that mirrors "hate speech" laws.

Right wing pigs were arresting people for "obscenity" decades before anyone was panicking about racism. These edgy interns think history began in 1994.

On the other hand, I could see the FBI using a rarely-enforced law to take out political enemies. This is the kind of law they use. Can't take out every political opponent unless EVERYTHING is a crime.
