    Can't stress enough the buzz to be had from mining your first moolah. If bat files and algos are a bridge too far, then Honeyminer is your best intro to effective mining.

    Honestly if you've got anything running Windows, you might as well download Honeyminer and literally earn money as you run the computer. Crypto mining without shelling out thousands of dollars.

    You need motivation. Try , it has an extra gamification component. It gets you comfortable with the numbers and the concepts. I've been running it on my test laptop for a week now and it's a decent first step.

    Whew, the big question! Start with the cashtag. Read the whitepaper (only 9 pages) to see why mining matters in the first place. If you're still interested, try it yourself with to get a feel for the numbers.
