As I've reduced my Twitter use, one thing I've thought about is how many old fights I used to engage in here that seemed dramatic and important at the time but I didn't think about at all a week later. It's really put a lot into perspective. There's a lot of nonsense on here!

My feeling is that the broader culture is in part defined by smaller fights, so even though individual arguments seem unimportant in retrospect, they sum to be quite important
