Many of these issues have to do with scale of CHI. I appreciate the volunteers. But, have we considered the radical alternative? Blow it up. Make it a low stakes community gathering.

i've been trying to figure out how to articulate this constructively… but, i think that the scale means that even though it's volunteer run, and *us*, some people don't feel like they have a say even though the community is high stakes for them? something like that.
