Jesus! I never heard of this before, chilling though and actually explains a lot about attitudes towards women, especially on here!

I know, I've seen the term but never put it to an actual 'movement'. Ironically I've seen it used by those screeching about snowflakes
-
Suppose everything nowadays has to have a label ffs. But feck me I was a late starter with the ladies and struggled to date and that but never once did the notion dawn on me that women had the problem. That is some other level of delusion.
-
It really is. The level of privilege with those guys is absolutely disgusting. When we grew up if you couldn't find a gf either you looked elsewhere or tried to sort yourself out to be more appealing to them. Blaming women for your inadequacies is revolting

I spend far too much time on Reddit, and the incels and their hatred of anyone having any kind of relationship or sex is absolutely eye-opening. Their language and treatment of both women and men who don't conform to their pity party is horrifying.
-
Is it that they rage against everyone (mostly women I assume) for having relationships while they whine about being involuntarily celibate, implying that they really want relationships? It sounds like insecurity and self loathing has turned into pure hatred
-
They hate all women for not having sex with them. They also hate men who have sex. They feel that their sheer existance entitles them to sex, and that their celebacy is a punishment given to them from women, not due to their vile personalities. Hence their hatred of women.
-
Such sickening little fools. Twitter can be horrendous, especially for women, but Reddit seems to foster such a vile pack mentality with some guys who expect that being a man, and usually white, entitles them to everything and anything

God this is a level of creepiness I didn’t need first thing in the morning. The sad thing is, where the thread explains where the turn “incel” actually came from. It’s been co-opted by radical misogynists when really it was for people who didn’t feel very good about themselves
-
I know that adoption of the term is really horrific and totally sums up the whole movement. It's really disturbing
