This is one of the many instances where I say terrible and rude service deserve no tip at all. Manager should have came out and apologized for your inconveniences and thanked you for tipping even with the bad service
I agree with nugget here. Typically, 15-20% is a fairly decent tip, at the very least it’s average. I worked as a waiter for a short time and sometimes I’d have people tip me $5 on a $10 order, but most cases I would have $1-2 on $20, 30, 40+ orders. You can’t shame the customer
