Both in this interview and in the WHO sit-rep from today, there is a claim that asymptomatic transmission is rare. Do you know the sources for this claim? Are they public?
I believe there is no way at this point they could have the data to say it’s rare; I think it means it has rarely been reported or the existing data cannot be relied upon

Yes, the asymptomatic aspect has been worrying and I’ve read there is suspected virus shedding even after patients were recovered. No doubt understanding of the virus will continue to evolve.
