It's well known that a point on a circle rolling on a straight line traces a cycloid. But what if the circle rolls on a cycloid? (made with )

The more sides you add to a regular shape, the more it tends towards being a circle. This is a 999 sided shape called an enneahectaenneacontakaienneagon (looks pretty much like a circle.)

Hey Marc, apps fully support scientific notation. No need to require Ss to buy a separate handheld calc when you have this & can lock Ss’ devices in exam mode (when needed). This recorded on my phone in GC. Works the same in web-based app too.

Newtonian gravitation in a curved surface (warped space-time): is it possible to reproduce an inverse square Newtonian force (and an elliptic orbit) with a simple kitchen plate? (that’s totally useless but I couldn’t help working on it) (click/tap to pause - made with )
