Wondering what it would be like if programs that have a notion of “tabs” or “windows” got rid of them, and focused on just presenting/editing one file/page/note, and left the tabbing/windowing and other multiplexing stuff up to the operating system.

Dude wow as someone who just spent the past 3 weeks apartment hunting on http://suumo.jp/ , which has an amazing database but is a total nightmare to use, your demo speaks to me. I'm really excited to see where you take this.

So far a lot of the group's work on this theory has been enabling developers to reuse concepts when building apps: http://sdg.csail.mit.edu/projects/deja-vu … But enabling *users* to choose their own implementations of a concept would totally change how apps are built

i like all of this but i still get tripped up so bad trying to understand how to refer to a triple or quad. you have this thing for writing general descriptions talking about things, but i never feel like i can talk easily about the description. i'm sure this is part on me.
