I also have the LSR 308's. I'm only starting out in the Industry but it seems they have suited you fine? I find there some resonances that struggle but my home studio room is in dire need of treatment. Would you commend the sub as well?
I've been using JBL LSR 308's at work for a few years now. I've been in wanderlust mode for other speakers (for no reason), but the MKI just dropped to $150 each on amazon, so I bought some for home with the sub. By now, I know them and love them. Serious value, IMO!

I think having the sub is pretty key for me. When I chose these, I A/B'd with Neumann 310s. Where the JBL's lack in Mid-range, I put a tiny bump on my RME total mix EQ. 310's still have tighter, better mids, but negligible after the EQ. 308s have better imaging, top end IMO.
