Is it worth working in AV to get live sound experience? Is it valuable for post-houses or game studios?
I agree with Presley here. I think it’s great experience for signal flow and honing in on the frequency spectrum. It’s real hard work, and can be a real detriment to your hearing depending on your live subjects, and how long you do it for. Howeverthe direct application to post..
