@uheplugins Uhbik G - I can't tell you how many times I've used this. Great for Sci-Fi, great for organic things like creatures. Amazing textures.Show this thread
Source generation - @twistedtools S-Layer Reaktor ensemble. Great for glitches, UI, and getting interesting textures. @illformed Glitch 2 is great for processing things like Robot Vox. @blinksonic Ruidoz is madness for glitch/sci-fi textures. Robot Vox as well.

I feel like there will be no surprises here. Like I said, I am not a very good source for "dark horse" software which everyone is searching for. Some other's recommendations that intrigue me are Envy, and Manipulator. If anyone wants to vouch for those I am all ears.
