Oh dear.... I only have terrible answers to that: hope, faith, confidence. Sounds dreadful doesn't it? It's just, I had no idea, NONE, about how difficult and hard adult life was going to be. I was very naive. I was shocked when I had my first job, for instance.

A body that worked, didn't ache all the time. My own hip joint, hair, a sense of humour, energy, time to do what I wanted to do, close friends, no worries, a none difficult love life... ...um, hair (again) I used to look to the future, now I look at the past. It was better there

My memory makes it seem like it was better. Part of "better", I think, was my age appropriate naivete; I didn't know all what was wrong back then; it all seemed easier to understand. Still, we revel in our memories. I've got way more past than I have future, so it's reasonable.pic.twitter.com/UVpzHcf5op
