That was a primary motive for me. I was thinking of how often I retweet
@clancynewyork's retweets in particular and was like the people who like those tweets should follow her. -
Complicated, isn't it? FWIW, my perception is that academics cite sources of tweets significantly less than they used to. And, I tell people who I send tweets to (with cc:'s) NOT to RT the QT because the UI means the nested content won't be visible. & I don't need Twitter cred.
