Using greek letters in math *is* useful. Low syntactic noise. High conceptual signal. Except when you're trying to bridge disciplines. Then, those greeks all have discordant common contexts. I spend so much time trying to find a good, balanced resolution. It may not exist.

I can't find the image, but one time I saw a greek statistics equation written out and it was color coded with a corresponding color coded sentence below it. It was like an "a-ha" moment that I've always wanted to use when using equations myself for sharing reserach
