1/ I reacted to @robjective's nonsense a day ago. It's been slowing churning inside my mind ever since. Today, I deactivated my @facebook account. I can no longer pretend it isn't an inherently evil product, and my participation is a mere drop in the bucket.

3/ It's just not worth it anymore. Facebook is a juggernaut of terrible. In it's current form, it shouldn't exist. I deactivated rather than deleted it, because I may need a contact I forgot about at some point. In which case, I can activate; communicate; then, deactivate.pic.twitter.com/8FIP0peaZE

4/ The premise of facebook ads are that they buy influence. Political ads buy political influence. Political strategy right now is to induce division. Facebook gets paid for that. That Zuck & co keep deflecting blame is monstrous.
