Carrying around my 18 month old nephew is a lesson in stochastic gradient ascent. He's figured out the "point to where you want to go" thing, but he gets distracted and sometimes we wonder a bit before reaching his desired destination.

That’s adorable. Can you just speak like a normal Uncle and say “we’re playing the point to where you want to go and we get distracted by shiny things. I love my nephew. I love being with my mini-me.” Enough with the stochastic stuff. No cool Uncle talks like that.
