neat idea, but wouldn't you need checkpoints for correctness? Each MV calculus problem is a sequential application of cal 1, 2, & 3.

Def true. And, it would be nice if it was possible. But, mostly I want something that's a cross between a spaced-repetition system and one of those automated tester systems for studying for a big test (e.g. SATs).

Don't need that much complexity. There are lots and lots of math problem sets out there. Just need them encoded and a button that says [yes] / [no] to the [did you get this correct] question.
