The worst is when it’s my “day off” and my brain refuses to let me sleep past the typical 6am alarm. This coming from a night owl.

I sleep exactly the same every day now. My body affords me no variability.

Which wouldn’t be such a bad thing if it led to a decent quantity of sleep on a regular basis. But apparently a set up wake up time doesn’t also mean a set fall asleep time in my case. *sigh*

Our brains need an off button. (Or maybe biphasic sleep?)

An off button sounds glorious. Where’s the funding?? (Biphasic sleep may just give more room for error)

If you're in California, the off button is found at your nearest dispensary. Unfortunately, I fear you're right about biphasic sleep though.

But I’d like an off button that’s always guaranteed to work, no addictive propensities, and no long-term side effects. Is that too much to ask for?
