One of my favorite things about him and all the rest of those French folks is that their writing almost perfectly replicates the tangled and tautological topologies they're trying to map. (Reader: it is very much not one of my favorite things)

I’ve been working my way through Le Bon’s “The Crowd” and I wish it didn’t have so many quotables because my goodness is that a problematic work. Not sure if he falls into the French folk you’re speaking of though.
