What are the best exploratory models of COVID? Strictly for pedagogical familiarity. Like, Schelling's model isn't actually a good one for most observed patterns of segregation, but you can learn important segregation dynamics from it. What's the COVID equivalent?

I've been wondering that too, and to me the answer is: whatever primary thing your country is trying to do right now.
