Your bank websites probably has a bill pay, which can be configged to send anywhere.

This. Most bill pay is actually just electronic checks. Unless the other party has a billing system that plays nice with the bank's bill pay software. You can just enter a name and an address as a billing vendor and they will send them a 'check'.

Call up your bank / credit union. I usually go in every year and a half to have them print me a sheet of 4 checks. It's free. Multiple institutions do it. Best of luck.
