I had a rabbit for 10 years, named Pumpkin
I learned the hard way that you have to let them run around more often than they're caged. (If you don't, then when you do let them out, they can be angsty and destructive.)
You can litterbox train them. -
Excellent name for a rabbit

I’ve been doing virtual adoptions at the shelter where I normally volunteer in-person and we have so much demand right now. I only work on the cat side but a lot of our slightly older cats who have been here for a while are finding homes.

No rabbits though! Only cats and dogs.

Cute fluffiness!! We have some guinea pigs instead of rabbits. They live about half as long and need somewhat less floor time than a rabbit. But also warm smelly fluffs of cute.

I think there are different breeds and the pet ones are fairly small / slow growing. My prepper relatives had like a dozen in suburban Houston at one point and they were absolute units.
